Job Description
A Backend Engineer at Sword Health will develop, scale, and optimize infrastructure supporting AI-powered clinical features and decision support systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, secure, and scalable healthcare solutions leveraging AI and machine learning technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, scale, and optimize infrastructure supporting ML-powered clinical features and decision support systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are robust, scalable, and secure
- Support upcoming innovations in Generative AI
Requirements
- Candidates must possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal.
- Experience in building, scaling, and optimizing infrastructure that supports machine learning-powered clinical features, decision support systems, and innovations in Generative AI.
- Proficiency in backend development skills relevant to supporting AI and ML applications.
- Ability to work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure products are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Experience in developing and maintaining secure, scalable backend systems for healthcare or similar industries.
