Job Description
The Trade Support - Contract Specialist supports environmental commodity trading operations by drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring accurate records, and enhancing process efficiency through automation, primarily within the context of decarbonization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts related to environmental certificates and physical trades.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records.
- Support automation projects to improve process efficiency using tools like Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, and Copilot.
- Develop a strong understanding of the operational and contractual aspects of environmental commodity trading.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Law
- At least 3 years of experience in contract management or negotiation in a commodity trading environment, including knowledge of commodity trading terms and conditions
- Fluent in English
- Currently living in the Netherlands
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills
