Job Description
The Sales Portfolio Manager for Environmental Commodities in Australia is responsible for expanding market presence, developing client relationships, executing trading transactions, and driving growth in renewable energy and environmental commodities markets through strategic sourcing and tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sourcing and trading strategies for the Australian renewable energy markets
- Drive demand activities for Corporate Environmental Demand Products
- Expand customer portfolio by identifying and pursuing new leads
- Structure and execute commercial and trading solutions tailored to client needs
- Execute transactions in Australian Environmental Commodities Products
- Analyze market data and conduct research on supply-demand drivers and regulatory frameworks
- Support market development initiatives and represent STX in Australian renewable energy markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and counterparties
Requirements
- At least 5 years of working experience within a sales, trading, business development or account management role in Australia or Singapore.
- Exposure to the Australian Energy Markets including exposure to utilities, renewables, carbon and or energy efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Fluent in English.
- Essential commercial and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Attentive and empathetic approach.
- Collaborative work style.
