Job Description
A Senior PPA Advisor role focused on originating, structuring, and managing renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements and related energy contracts, working closely with clients and internal teams to drive strategic growth and develop sustainable energy solutions in the US market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs and long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, understanding their sustainability goals, energy needs, and financial priorities.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, and sustainability teams to design integrated client solutions.
- Conduct market and policy analysis to inform product development and strategic positioning.
- Support the development of STX's renewable power offerings, including BESS and emerging innovations, for corporate clients.
- Represent STX at industry events, client meetings, and forums to build brand visibility and thought leadership.
Requirements
- 6 to 10 years of experience in renewable energy PPAs, energy markets, structured sales, or energy commodity origination.
- Proven track record of developing and closing PPA transactions or complex structured energy deals.
- Strong understanding of US power markets, renewable energy technologies, and corporate decarbonization challenges.
- Experience in leading origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs, including corporate and utility-scale and related long-term offtake agreements.
- Ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when engaging with senior corporate stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.
