Job Description
The role involves developing and executing sales strategies to expand the customer portfolio in the DACH region, providing tailored decarbonization solutions in renewable energy markets, and maintaining client relationships through strategic transactions and market expertise within a global renewable energy trading company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies, identify new clients, and acquire customers through targeted outreach.
- Manage and develop existing client relationships by providing proactive advice on regulations and market trends.
- Structure and execute strategic transactions and trading deals in renewable energy credits such as green power and biomethane.
- Participate in relevant industry conferences and trade shows.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including trading desks and technical product experts.
Requirements
- In-depth professional experience in the areas of sales, trading, business development, or account management, ideally with a focus on sustainability and energy topics or from the finance and banking sector.
- A good understanding of the environmental goods market and renewable energies.
- A master's degree in one of the relevant fields such as sales, trading, business development, account management, sustainability, energy, finance, or banking.
- Fluent proficiency in both German and English languages.
- Commercial thinking skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to recognize potential and opportunities.
- Strong team-oriented attitude, valuing teamwork as a core principle.
