Job Description
A PPA Advisor role focused on originating, structuring, and managing renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements, working closely with corporate clients and internal teams to develop tailored decarbonization solutions and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and structuring of renewable energy PPAs and related long-term offtake agreements.
- Develop and manage a sales pipeline of qualified corporate PPA opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, understanding their sustainability goals, energy needs, risk tolerance, and financial priorities.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, and sustainability teams to design integrated client solutions aligned with environmental commodity strategies.
- Conduct market and policy analysis to inform product development, client recommendations, and strategic positioning.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in renewable energy PPAs, energy markets, structured sales, or energy commodity origination.
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing PPA transactions or complex structured energy deals.
- Strong understanding of European power markets, renewable energy technologies, and corporate decarbonization challenges.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building pipelines, identifying new market opportunities, and growing STX s role as a leader in renewable power.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills when engaging with senior corporate stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team.
