Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Trade Support Operations Specialist to join our Trade Operations team in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities
- Support trading desks by providing end-to-end operational support and serving as a key contact for stakeholders.
- Verify trade bookings and transaction details to ensure accuracy and compliance with deal confirmations.
- Manage environmental commodity transactions, including certificate transfers and redemptions across international registries.
- Maintain inventory positions, monitor expiring volumes, and mitigate operational and financial risks through accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with Trading, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams while driving process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in trade support, operations, or a similar role within a trading or financial markets environment.
- Strong understanding of commodity trading or financial markets, with advanced Excel skills; VBA and Power Query are a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills (Spanish is an advantage), with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive team player with a solution-focused mindset.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to Amsterdam.
