Key Responsibilities
- Build an understanding of the full-cycle trading process from its inception to execution by rotating on at least one:
- Product Team – Renewable Natural Gas, Renewable Energy Credits, Biofuels
- Client Strategy Team - Strive & Climate Action Consulting, Business Development
- Operational Support Team – Trade Operations
- Support the different desks with integral research and analytics, staying up to date on macroeconomic events and market trends to influence decision-making
- Apply new perspectives to help streamline internal processes by creating workflow automations and organizing datasets
- Assist in the preparation of pitch decks, communications, and RFPs for prospective clients
Requirements
- Mandatory Requirements
- Current Undergraduate or Masters’ students with a graduation date in Spring/Summer 2027
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, and any other analytical tools is preferred
- Demonstrated interest in sustainable energy and/or environmental commodities
- Analytical ability to synthesize data, reports, and other information in a presentable format
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- GPA of 3.3 or above
- Preferred Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Technology, Business, Environmental Sciences or other related field
- Experience with SQL and VBA
Benefits & Perks
- The base salary range for this position is $85,000- $95,000 based on several objective factors such as relevant experience, holistic skillset, and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for discretionary compensation as determined annually within the company fiscal year.
