Job Description
As a Technical Operations Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring optimal performance for a distributed portfolio of solar PV and energy storage assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients in a portfolio of about 250-350 MW of distributed solar assets
- Review service visit reports before they are presented to clients and participate in weekly client check-in calls to provide on-the-spot technical expertise
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, field service partners, internal team members, and other asset stakeholders
- Investigate issues using site monitoring platforms, and initiate activities to improve asset performance.
- Create, manage, and oversee tickets for planned and unplanned service activities.
- Coordinate and manage service activities with field service partners.
- Support onsite service technicians during service work and check-out calls.
- Collaborate with external engineering firms for retrofits, repowering, and redesigns.
- Own the technical aspect of our Commercial BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) program, including sales support, pricing proposals, scope development, contract review, and operational implementation
- Contribute to the development and updates of Omnidian’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and QA/QC program
- Participate in initiatives supporting sales and product development.
