Job Description
A Program Manager responsible for coordinating product development and customer communication between the U.S. headquarters and Korean customers in the solid-state battery industry, ensuring smooth program execution and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product process development based on customer requirements and feedback
- Coordinate joint development activities with partners
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between headquarters and Korean customers
- Maintain documentation of meetings, decisions, and action items
- Translate and relay communications between Korean customers and U.S. technical teams
- Support cross-functional coordination across engineering, product, and business teams
- Manage Korea-specific action items, including logistics and follow-ups
- Lead customer meetings in Korea and provide translation and interpretation support
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize customer feedback for product and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
- 8 years of industry experience with at least 4 years in a Program Management role focused on product development or manufacturing
- Proficiency in Korean and English languages
- Strong cross-functional team leadership and consensus-building abilities
- Customer-facing experience in a Program Manager capacity
- Ability to lead, influence, and gain acceptance across all organizational levels
- Thorough knowledge of phase gate methodology
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of product development processes
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
