Job Description

A Program Manager responsible for coordinating product development and customer communication between the U.S. headquarters and Korean customers in the solid-state battery industry, ensuring smooth program execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Manage product process development based on customer feedback
Coordinate joint development activities with partners
Facilitate communication and collaboration between headquarters and Korean customers
Maintain documentation of meetings, decisions, and action items
Ensure smooth execution of programs across different time zones and cultures
Align project goals, timelines, and deliverables with U.S.-based Program Manager
Translate and relay communications between Korean customers and U.S. technical teams
Support cross-functional coordination among engineering, product, and business teams
Manage Korea-specific action items, logistics, and follow-ups
Lead customer meetings in Korea and provide translation and interpretation support
Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product and process improvements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
8 years of industry experience with 4 years in a Program Management role with a focus on product development or manufacturing
Korean and English language proficiency
Strong cross-functional team leadership and consensus-building abilities
Customer-facing experience in a Program Manager capacity
Ability to lead, influence, and gain acceptance across all organizational levels
Thorough knowledge of phase gate methodology
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Deep understanding of product development
Rapid learner who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Must have access to technology, software, and information subject to governmental export control restrictions, with continued government authorization for access
