Job Description
A Program Manager responsible for coordinating product development and customer communication between the U.S. headquarters and Korean customers in the solid-state battery industry, ensuring smooth program execution and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product process development based on customer feedback
- Coordinate joint development activities with partners
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between headquarters and Korean customers
- Maintain documentation of meetings, decisions, and action items
- Ensure smooth execution of programs across different time zones and cultures
- Align project goals, timelines, and deliverables with U.S.-based Program Manager
- Translate and relay communications between Korean customers and U.S. technical teams
- Support cross-functional coordination among engineering, product, and business teams
- Manage Korea-specific action items, logistics, and follow-ups
- Lead customer meetings in Korea and provide translation and interpretation support
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to inform product and process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
- 8 years of industry experience with 4 years in a Program Management role with a focus on product development or manufacturing
- Korean and English language proficiency
- Strong cross-functional team leadership and consensus-building abilities
- Customer-facing experience in a Program Manager capacity
- Ability to lead, influence, and gain acceptance across all organizational levels
- Thorough knowledge of phase gate methodology
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Deep understanding of product development
- Rapid learner who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Must have access to technology, software, and information subject to governmental export control restrictions, with continued government authorization for access
