Job Description
A Project Manager role responsible for overseeing the installation and operation of a battery manufacturing line in Korea, ensuring project milestones, safety standards, and effective communication with partners and contractors in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain communication with partners and internal stakeholders
- Support phase-gate reviews and ensure achievement of program milestones
- Manage onsite activities, supervise production, and collaborate with contractors
- Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve production delays
- Record and maintain change logs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Coordinate logistics, deliveries, permits, and site access
- Provide technical reports on site activities and issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline
- 8 years of industry experience in process manufacturing engineering with 2 years in a battery related field
- 3 years of site deployment experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage subcontractors effectively in dynamic site environments
- Experience serving as a Program Manager with direct customer engagement and relationship management
- Skilled in gaining buy-in across all organizational levels, even in high-stakes or sensitive situations
- Deep understanding of phase gate methodology and its application in complex projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with sharp analytical thinking
- Quick to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, start-up or high-growth settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must be able to start site deployment starting Q4 2025
- Language proficiency in Korean and English
