Job Description
The Director of Subcontracts is responsible for developing and managing the subcontractor ecosystem supporting solar project development and EPC operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to high quality standards through strategic planning, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimize the subcontractor ecosystem supporting solar project development and EPC portfolio.
- Own subcontractor strategy across electrical, roofing, structural, civil, and specialty trades.
- Build scalable subcontracting processes and negotiate master service agreements.
- Manage subcontractor performance to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.
- Partner cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Procurement, Safety, and Construction teams to support project execution.
Requirements

- Owning subcontractor strategy across electrical, roofing, structural, civil, and specialty trades.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Negotiating master service agreements with subcontractors.
- Managing subcontractor performance.
- Partnering cross-functionally with Development, Engineering, Procurement, Safety, and Construction teams to support rapid growth across multiple markets.
