Job Description

The Senior Manager, Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the performance, optimization, and risk management of Silicon Ranch's utility-scale renewable energy assets, ensuring safe and compliant operations while maximizing financial returns and fostering continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance, optimization, and risk of utility-scale renewable energy assets.
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of solar and BESS assets.
  • Monitor daily asset operations to maximize revenue and financial performance.
  • Lead resolution of asset outages to minimize safety and financial impacts.
  • Act as primary contact for O M providers, landowners, and utilities.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules, warranty claims, and issue resolution.
  • Develop and track budgets, operating expenses, and revenue streams.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide performance reports and insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Support onboarding and transition of new projects to asset management.
  • Coordinate with development, engineering, legal, and finance teams for project documentation and data transfer.
  • Collaborate on integrating BESS into existing assets and identify opportunities for asset optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Finance.
  • 6 to 8 years of professional experience, with strong preference for background in Solar, BESS, financial analysis, project management, or related fields.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Power Platform Apps, Automation, and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Results-driven professional with strong problem-solving skills, integrity, and a solid work ethic.
  • Proactive and adaptable, excelling in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Agile in navigating organizational change while maintaining focus on priorities.
  • Proven collaborator, fostering effective partnerships with peers, leadership, and vendors.
  • Resourceful and persistent, consistently achieving objectives with professionalism.
