Job Description
The Senior Manager, Asset Management is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing the performance, safety, and compliance of Silicon Ranch's utility-scale renewable energy assets, including solar and battery storage projects, while managing vendor relationships and ensuring long-term operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the performance, optimization, and risk of utility-scale renewable energy assets.
- Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of solar and BESS assets.
- Monitor daily operations and address outages to minimize safety and financial impacts.
- Coordinate maintenance, warranty claims, and stakeholder communication.
- Develop and track budgets, expenses, and revenue streams for assets.
- Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Generate performance reports and provide insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Support onboarding and transition of new projects from delivery to operational management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan asset integration, optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Lead strategic asset management initiatives, including capital improvements and repowering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Finance.
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience, with strong preference for background in Solar, BESS, financial analysis, project management, or related fields.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Power Platform Apps, Automation, and Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to travel up to 15%.
