Job Description
The role involves leading and optimizing construction project schedules, particularly for data center projects, by developing scalable solutions, managing project plans, and collaborating with teams to improve efficiency and outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the project plan to ensure effective project delivery and mitigate delays.
- Ensure the project team understands and focuses on the plan, maintaining alignment.
- Provide actionable reports to stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Develop scalable and repeatable best practices, tools, and solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Maximize the professional and personal development of team members and educate clients.
- Support the establishment and growth of the company's presence in the USA, including leadership in expansion efforts.
Requirements
- A construction engineering background.
- Solid experience in construction project scheduling and controls, with the ability to align plans with strategic objectives and broader project context.
- Strong software-specific knowledge, such as Primavera P6, along with decent Excel skills and a strong interest in data.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills.
- Charisma and influence to get construction people to do new things and take the best approach.
- Proactive leadership capabilities, including leading oneself and others by asking the right questions and challenging them.
- A track record of making projects and organizations better beyond just doing the basics, by implementing scalable, repeatable solutions that had a significant positive impact.
