Job Description
The Practical Project PMO Planner role involves supporting and leading project planning, scheduling, and control activities for complex construction projects in sectors like data centers and infrastructure, with a focus on improving efficiency, transparency, and project outcomes through data-driven systems and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the project plan to ensure effective project delivery and mitigate delays.
- Ensure the project team understands and focuses on the plan to achieve project outcomes.
- Provide actionable reports to stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution.
- Develop scalable, repeatable best practices, tools, and solutions in collaboration with the team.
- Coach, support, and develop a high-performing project team and enhance client capabilities.
Requirements
- A construction engineering background.
- At least 7 years of experience working on construction projects in roles such as Project Planner, PMO, or Project Controls.
- Proficiency in key tools like Primavera P6 and Excel, with a deep understanding of planning principles.
- Confidence in tools like Safran, Deltek Acumen Fuse, and Power BI or the drive to learn them quickly.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English and the ability to communicate clearly across different levels of a project team.
- A relentless, hands-on approach to working with people, driving clarity and alignment across teams to get the job done.
- A strong track record of making real improvements on projects, delivering outcomes that go beyond the basics and make a lasting difference.
