Job Description
This role involves leading and managing the company's IT strategy, infrastructure, security, and operations across multiple regions to support innovative research and development in AI-enhanced battery technology, ensuring seamless technology integration, security compliance, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic multi-year technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Act as the primary strategic partner and point of contact for senior stakeholders on technology decisions.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and provide on-site IT support for specialized areas.
- Collaborate with executives to establish and manage a multi-year technology strategy addressing capability gaps and growth.
- Manage enterprise-wide information security, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.
- Oversee cybersecurity measures by collaborating with third-party vendors and implementing protective controls.
- Ensure system security and data protection through controls like backups, patch cycles, and access protocols.
- Maintain technical documentation and evidence for SOX audits and ensure operational compliance of business systems.
- Manage system administration functions, including integration, remote access, and system compatibility.
- Oversee deployment and validation of virtual machines and support infrastructure operations.
- Monitor and support daily operations of business applications and infrastructure to minimize disruptions.
- Lead and manage global IT teams across the US, Korea, and China, driving performance and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a direct managerial or supervisory capacity overseeing IT infrastructure, applications, and support staff, including experience with multi-site or global teams.
- Proven, in-depth technical expertise managing and securing enterprise infrastructure, including mastery of Windows Server, Microsoft 365 administration and security, AWS and/or Azure environments, and diverse end-user operating systems Windows OS, macOS, iOS.
- Strong background in the governance and lifecycle management of enterprise software, hardware, and server systems, including backup, recovery, patching, and asset management.
- Proven ability to strategically multi-task and prioritize complex projects and critical operational needs under fixed schedules and in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical terms for senior executives and non-technical staff.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and managing IT General Controls (ITGCs) and supporting SOX compliance efforts, particularly related to user access, change management, and audit readiness.
