The Electrical Engineering Manager leads and supports the electrical engineering team across multiple offices, overseeing project execution, mentoring engineers, and establishing standards to deliver high-quality electrical solutions for various industries.

Lead and support the electrical engineering team across multiple offices.
Ensure successful delivery of projects by defining technical scope and success criteria.
Mentor and develop engineers to achieve career growth and improve skills.
Establish standards, processes, and best practices for electrical design and execution.
Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities within the electrical engineering team.
Manage team performance, resource allocation, and project priorities.
Leverage technical expertise to support electrical engineering development efforts.
Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Evaluate and manage project risks, including scope creep and critical requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related field
7 years of experience in an electrical engineering and hardware development role for aerospace, industrial automation, and/or robotics, especially for tightly coupled systems
5 years of progressively impactful electrical engineering leadership roles
Expertise in successfully executing end-to-end electronics design from requirements generation through hardware bring-up
Aptitude for cross functional community building and collaboration with mechanical, software, systems, and test engineers to improve the output of electrical engineering team
Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to evaluate and manage project risk, including scope creep, remediating missing critical requirements, and ensuring that technical challenges are sufficiently addressed
Willingness to work 40 hours a week on-site in El Segundo, California
Eligibility to work on export controlled projects under U.S. Government export control regulations, including being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or able to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Willingness to travel monthly to the Redmond, WA office
