An Electrical Engineer II responsible for the full lifecycle design of complex electronic systems across various industries, collaborating with clients and teams to develop innovative, reliable hardware solutions from requirements to testing.
Key Responsibilities
Own the full design lifecycle of complex electronic systems from requirements to acceptance testing.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop appropriate hardware solutions.
Conduct design reviews, manage technical risks, and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure hardware functions correctly on the first attempt.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience with end-to-end electronics design, including requirements generation, schematic design, board layout, design verification, and acceptance testing
Demonstrated experience taking ownership of a hardware design from end to end
Proficiency in at least one professional ECAD tool such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, PADS, or EAGLE
Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated passion for engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to overcome technical challenges
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions
Willingness to work 40 hours a week on-site in Redmond, Washington, USA
Eligibility to work on ITAR projects, which requires being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or able to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
