Job Description
An Electrical Engineer II responsible for designing and developing complex electrical systems across various industries, overseeing projects from concept to testing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative electronic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop complex electronic systems from concept through hardware testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to build solutions across various industries
- Manage schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware bring-up, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for design reviews, hardware testing, and validation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience with end-to-end electronics design, including requirements generation, schematic design, board layout, design verification, and acceptance testing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated passion for engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to overcome technical challenges
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions and component selections
- Experience with any common ECAD tool, such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, PADS, or EAGLE
- Willingness to work 40 hours a week on-site in El Segundo, California, USA
- Eligibility to work on export-controlled projects, including being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or able to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
