An Electrical Engineer II role focused on designing, developing, and implementing advanced electrical systems across various industries, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex technical challenges and support innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, architecture, and development of electronic systems
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to develop solutions across multiple industries
Take ownership of schematic capture, PCB layout, hardware bring-up, and troubleshooting
Work with other engineering disciplines to conduct design reviews, hardware testing, and validation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience with end-to-end electronics design, including requirements generation, schematic design, board layout, design verification, and acceptance testing
Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated passion for engineering
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to overcome technical challenges
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills to explain design decisions and component selections
Experience in any common ECAD tool, such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Cadence, PADS, EAGLE, etc.
Willingness to work 40 hours a week on-site in Redmond, Washington, USA
Eligibility to work on export-controlled projects under U.S. Government export control regulations, including being a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or able to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Ability to support the design, architecture, and development of electronic systems from schematic capture and PCB layout through hardware bring-up and troubleshooting
Experience working across multiple industries such as aerospace, renewable energy, and medical devices
