The Project Development Manager oversees the full lifecycle development of on-site power generation and infrastructure projects for hyperscale data centers, including land acquisition, site control, interconnection, permitting, and project financing, requiring strategic coordination and market expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full lifecycle development of on-site power generation and infrastructure projects for hyperscale data centers
Originate land opportunities and secure site control
Manage interconnection strategy and oversee permitting processes
Handle commercial structuring and drive projects to notice to proceed and financial close
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes
Requirements
Experience in leading full lifecycle development of on-site power generation and infrastructure projects, including originating land opportunities, securing site control, managing interconnection strategy, overseeing permitting and commercial structuring, and driving projects to notice to proceed and financial close.
Strong market knowledge related to on-site power generation, infrastructure projects, and energy markets.
Demonstrated commercial discipline in project development and execution.
Regulatory awareness relevant to power generation and infrastructure projects.
On-the-ground expertise in project development, permitting, and stakeholder coordination.
Ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders without directly managing large teams.
Experience working in a senior project development or similar role in the energy or infrastructure sector.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, business, environmental science, or a related field (implied by the seniority and technical nature of the role).
