A Senior SCADA Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems and automation architecture for microgrids, power plants, and data center operations to ensure high system uptime and visibility across complex electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop SCADA and networking systems for power automation and control.
Shape automation and control architecture for mission-critical data center operations.
Ensure system uptime and visibility across complex power systems.
Support development of microgrids, power plants, and solar-plus-storage systems.
Requirements
Deep understanding of electrical infrastructure, power automation, networks, and control systems to support the development of behind-the-meter BTM or off-grid microgrids, gas-fired power plants, and solar-plus-storage systems across hyperscale and colocation data centers.
Expertise in shaping automation and control architecture that underpins mission-critical data center operations.
Proficiency in SCADA system design and operation to ensure unparalleled uptime and visibility across complex power systems.
Ability to support and lead the development of microgrid systems, including behind-the-meter BTM or off-grid configurations, gas-fired power plants, and solar-plus-storage systems.
Experience in designing and operating networking systems related to SCADA and power automation.
Demonstrated leadership in a senior engineering role, with the ability to support complex power and control system projects.
Location flexibility to work in Ridgewood, NJ HQ, NYC, LA, Oakland, CA offices, or fully remote for the right candidate.
