Job Description
The role involves leading and managing the company's technology infrastructure, security, and AI initiatives, partnering with business stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that support growth, efficiency, and sustainability in a dynamic energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the company's technology infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
- Define and implement a technology roadmap aligned with business priorities
- Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and controls
- Oversee cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and data protection practices
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards
- Identify, evaluate, and deploy AI-driven solutions in collaboration with business leaders
- Lead the evaluation, deployment, and governance of AI tools and platforms
- Translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly technology solutions
- Manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects, including scoping, execution, and stakeholder communication
- Oversee vendor governance for technology, security, and AI platforms, including contract negotiations and onboarding
- Drive vendor and tool rationalization to reduce redundancy, operational complexity, and costs
- Provide executive-level reporting on technology, security, and AI initiatives, including delivery status, risks, and operational health
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology, IT, or digital transformation roles.
- Strong foundation in technology infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity.
- Working knowledge of AI tools and applications, with the ability to translate them into business use cases.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders and influence decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking skills.
- Experience managing external vendors and managed service providers.
- Solid project and program management capabilities, including leading end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives from scoping to execution.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with vendor governance for technology, security, and AI platforms, including contract negotiations, onboarding, service boundaries, and exit planning.
- Experience producing executive-level reporting for technology, security, and AI initiatives, including delivery status, operational health, key risks, financial implications, and security posture.
- Ability to establish and maintain program level governance artifacts, including milestone tracking, dependency management, and decision registers.
- Experience supporting executive reviews during audits, security incidents, major technology investments, and AI governance discussions.

Compensation/salary range: $140,000 - $190,000 with discretionary annual bonus
