Job Description
The Senior Analyst in Capital Markets at SB Energy supports the execution of financings for renewable energy projects, including financial modeling, due diligence, and deal documentation, with opportunities to lead transactions and collaborate across various teams in a dynamic, growth-oriented company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support capital formation through financial modeling, analysis, and due diligence for financings.
- Assist in negotiating transaction documentation and driving financial close.
- Build and maintain relationships internally across departments and externally with capital providers.
- Collaborate with various teams (M&A, FP&A, project development, procurement, construction, operations) on deal-related work streams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of company processes and uphold business ethics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience working at a leading sponsor, investor lender, or advisor in power infrastructure or real estate.
- Utility-scale renewable energy experience preferred.
- Transaction experience in tax equity or project finance debt required.
- Expert in MS Excel.
- VBA knowledge a plus.
- Ownership mentality with comfort in communicating ideas and opinions and taking initiative.
- Self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
- Avid learner.
