Job Description

A Project Manager supporting the planning and execution of data center and large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on coordinating design, construction, and technical documentation in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in coordinating design and construction efforts across stakeholders
  • Review and interpret technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications
  • Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items for clear communication
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools
  • Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs
  • Prepare status reports and support team presentations and client meetings
  • Identify potential project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • 7 years of professional experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in construction or engineering project support roles, with exposure to data centers or large mechanical electrical systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
  • Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to support the successful planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design and construction projects.
  • Ability to assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.
  • Ability to help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to ensure clear communication across teams.
  • Ability to track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
  • Ability to assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.
  • Ability to prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and client meetings.
  • Ability to help identify potential project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Willingness to work on-site near Lubbock, Texas.
