A Project Manager supporting the planning and execution of data center and large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on coordinating design, construction, and technical documentation in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers in coordinating design and construction efforts across stakeholders
Review and interpret technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications
Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items for clear communication
Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools
Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs
Prepare status reports and support team presentations and client meetings
Identify potential project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
7 years of professional experience.
2 to 5 years of experience in construction or engineering project support roles, with exposure to data centers or large mechanical electrical systems preferred.
Basic understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and project coordination.
Familiarity with reading construction drawings and technical documents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to support the successful planning and execution of data center, critical infrastructure, and large-scale MEP Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design and construction projects.
Ability to assist in reviewing and interpreting technical documentation, including architectural plans and MEP specifications.
Ability to help maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and action items to ensure clear communication across teams.
Ability to track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using scheduling tools.
Ability to assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and change order documentation.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to gather and organize project inputs.
Ability to prepare regular status reports and support the team in presentations and client meetings.
Ability to help identify potential project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
Willingness to work on-site near Lubbock, Texas.
