Job Description

The Controls Security Network Compute Lead oversees the design, integration, and commissioning of critical technology systems, including building management, security, and network infrastructure, for large-scale data center construction projects, ensuring performance, security, and operational standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of technology systems for large-scale data center projects
  • Ensure proper design, integration, and commissioning of low-voltage and intelligent systems to meet performance, security, and operational standards
  • Lead planning, design review, and execution of Building Management Systems (BMS), physical security systems, and network infrastructure
  • Serve as the primary contact for all technology systems during design and construction phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors responsible for controls, security, and IT infrastructure installations
  • Oversee installation quality, system integration, and interoperability across platforms
  • Drive commissioning activities including testing, validation, and documentation
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to system integration, schedule, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and client specifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of experience in data center construction, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
  • Strong experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and EPMS controls systems
  • Experience with physical security systems such as Lenel, Genetec, etc.
  • Experience with structured cabling and network infrastructure including fiber, switching, and structured cabling
  • Experience with data center IT compute environments
  • Proven experience managing vendors and coordinating across multiple disciplines
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and system integration in mission-critical environments
  • Strong understanding of data center design standards and best practices
