Job Description
The Workplace Operations Manager oversees daily office services, vendor management, event support, and office expansion efforts at Samsara's CDMX location, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace environment while aligning with company culture and growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day workplace services and vendor management, including catering, snacks, and janitorial services
- Manage the office budget and recommend cost-saving measures
- Act as liaison between building management and the Workplace team
- Develop and implement processes to improve employee experience
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to support events, onboarding, and office moves
- Support expansion efforts and manage temporary office locations and pilot projects
- Serve as point of contact for construction-related activities
- Lead and develop an inclusive, high-performing workplace team
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of office management experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite and Slack
- Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and self-sufficient in issues that may arise
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move around small office furniture if needed
