Job Description
A senior mobile engineer role focused on designing and building scalable, high-performance mobile platform infrastructure to support multiple engineering teams and millions of users, primarily using React Native, with an emphasis on performance optimization and large-scale application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable mobile platform infrastructure supporting high-availability applications
- Create foundational frameworks to enable efficient development across multiple engineering teams
- Optimize mobile performance for diverse device types, including low-end Android devices
- Architect solutions for large-scale consumer mobile applications across various industries
- Lead initiatives to reduce complexity and improve developer productivity
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of mobile development related experience.
- Extensive experience with large-scale consumer mobile applications.
- Proven track record building platform-level mobile infrastructure and frameworks serving millions of customers daily.
- Strong expertise in mobile performance optimization and scalability.
- Experience supporting multiple engineering teams through platform solutions.
- Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
- Experience with React Native, as the company's apps are primarily React Native-based.
- Experience with cross-platform mobile development.
- A blend of experience from both fast-paced startup entrepreneurial environments and large-scale big tech companies.
- A track record of technical leadership in fast-growing companies.
