Job Description

The role involves developing and executing strategic initiatives for the Canadian market within a high-growth IoT SaaS company, acting as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, analyzing market data, and driving business growth through cross-functional projects and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Canadian market, including customer segments, sales performance, product-market fit, and competitive landscape.
  • Represent the Canadian market to inform company strategy, product roadmap, and customer programs based on market feedback and intelligence.
  • Drive and track the execution of cross-functional initiatives to support market growth and operational improvements.
  • Lead strategic projects such as new segment launches and productivity enhancements with urgency and clarity.
  • Support sales leadership with planning, territory design, goal setting, forecasting, and performance reviews to ensure targets are met.
  • Create and present executive-level reports and recommendations to influence high-level decision-making.
  • Identify and recommend sales performance improvements to help teams achieve their targets.
  • Manage the rhythm of the business through reviews, updates, and planning processes, providing insights and accountability.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to uncover trends, diagnose issues, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency, forecasting, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Consulting, Strategy, Finance, Business Operations, or Sales Strategy Operations.
  • Experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others including executive audiences.
  • Experience working with executive leadership and partnering with sales leadership.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects on a tight deadline.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a deep sense of curiosity.
  • Strong bias for action and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience working with large data sets and leveraging DataBricks, BigQuery, SQL, or similar tools.
  • Experience working in Canada for a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
  • Business-level fluency in French is a plus.
  • Preferred: MBA.
