Job Description
The Senior Manager of Campaign Operations at Samsara is responsible for leading and scaling the global marketing campaign execution team, overseeing end-to-end campaign processes, driving operational efficiency, and integrating AI innovations to support demand generation and business growth across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the global campaign execution team responsible for building, testing, and launching multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency within campaign operations.
- Influence and collaborate with Demand Generation, Lifecycle, and Field Marketing leaders on campaign feasibility, prioritization, and best practices.
- Ensure high standards of execution quality, accuracy, transparency, and delivery across the team.
- Streamline cross-team processes and workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and improve collaboration.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and strategic risks within the team and campaign processes.
- Foster a sense of urgency and balance speed with quality in campaign delivery to meet market demands.
- Drive AI integration and innovation within campaign operations to enhance efficiency and impact.
- Conduct root cause analysis to resolve systemic issues and improve campaign performance.
- Develop and implement tools and resources to enhance team performance and onboarding.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Demand Generation or similar Global Service Center, with 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Serve as a subject matter expert with deep hands-on experience in Marketing Automation Marketo, Iterable, CRM Salesforce, and CDP platforms Hightouch or similar, providing technical leadership and troubleshooting complex issues to guide and support the team.
- Managed high-volume global campaign operations, overseeing end-to-end processes including intake, build, QA, and reporting to ensure efficient execution and quality delivery.
- Analyzed operational metrics such as SLA adherence, error rates, capacity planning, and campaign performance data (Open Rate, CTR, CTOR, Pipe MQL, etc.) to inform strategic decisions and optimize resource allocation.
- Fostered cross-functional collaboration to solve complex challenges, streamline workflows, and improve overall marketing operations efficiency.
- Possess Marketo Certified Expert or equivalent technical certifications.
- Experience managing remote or distributed teams across different time zones, supporting members based in North America, EMEA, and LATAM.
- Experience leading change management initiatives, such as transitioning operational responsibilities or implementing new intake platforms.
- Proficiency with related stack tools such as Hightouch, Airtable, Gumloop, Allgood, Litmus, and Contentful.
