Job Description
The role involves managing and enhancing Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence to support operational efficiency, providing user support and training, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows within a remote, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, manage, and enhance JIRA and Confluence instances, including setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Develop and manage complex JIRA workflows, fields, dashboards, and reports to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency
- Provide training and support to JIRA and Confluence users, ensuring best practices in bug tracking, issue tracking, and project management
- Integrate JIRA projects with other tools and software to create seamless workflows
- Maintain system security, stability, and access controls
- Perform upgrades, migrations, and plugin installations, managing them from start to finish
- Analyze and improve performance metrics to ensure scalability and effectiveness
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
- Drive core operations that keep the company secure and productive
Requirements
- A college degree in a technical program such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or other STEM field
- At least 5 years of experience working with people in an Atlassian Admin role
- Strong spoken and written language skills
- A passion for learning and doing new things in a fast-paced environment
- An affinity for working with all things electronic
- Knowledge of Apple products including Macbooks and iPhones
- Project management experience
- Process analysis experience
- Software programming or scripting ability
