Job Description
A Full-Stack Software Engineer at Samsara develops and maintains customer-facing features and core infrastructure for the Connected Operations Cloud platform, impacting industries like transportation, manufacturing, and agriculture by creating scalable, real-world solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
- Maintain and support the production systems owned by the team.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, firmware, and infrastructure engineers to develop customer-facing features.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance systems to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations.
- Partner with other teams to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and promote the platform.
- Solve problems to enable product functionality for global customers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience building customer-facing applications.
- Strong programming coding fundamentals in a language such as Java, Python, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems.
- Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team.
- Experience with a public cloud such as AWS.
- Familiarity with multiple tiers, like React Frontends and Microservices.
