Job Description
A full stack Software Engineer role focused on developing and maintaining safety event platforms that utilize sensor data, AI, and analytics to improve driver safety and operational efficiency across various industries. The position involves designing scalable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and impacting real-world safety and operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver full-stack features for the safety event platform.
- Own the operational health and maintenance of production systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and support teams.
- Utilize logs and metrics to troubleshoot and resolve system bugs and issues.
- Contribute to the core architecture and technical roadmap of the platform.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in software development.
- Experience shipping features that are used by customers and iterating on customer feedback to inform what to deliver next.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate, with the ability to explain why you build something a certain way and be open to suggestions from other engineers and stakeholders.
- A growth mindset and excitement around building new skills and expertise, with the ability to be a quick learner and operate with minimum supervision.
- Comfort with building out end-to-end solutions.
- Assist in maintaining the production systems your team owns and provide operational support when necessary.
- Utilize logs and metrics for tracking down and investigating bugs, ensuring the robustness and reliability of systems.
- Experience with taking LLM systems to production (preferred).
- Experience in a fast-paced environment contributing to an early-stage product (preferred).
- Experience collaborating on a geographically distributed team (preferred).
- Experience in maintaining software products at scale (preferred).
- Experience with Go, GraphQL, Typescript, React, and AWS (preferred).
