Job Description
A Senior Engineer role focused on building AI-powered detection systems that analyze vehicle data and camera footage to identify unsafe behaviors and operational events, contributing to safety and efficiency improvements across physical industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and release new features rapidly, validate with customers, and evolve solutions.
- Solve complex technical problems and own the success of full-stack products.
- Build and maintain AI-powered detection systems analyzing camera footage, telemetry, and vehicle data.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and ML teams to define and deliver new detections and features.
- Own the operational health of production systems and contribute to scaling infrastructure.
- Contribute to core architecture, product roadmap, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience shipping features that are used by customers and iterating on customer feedback to inform what to deliver next.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate, with the ability to explain why a feature is built a certain way and be open to suggestions from other engineers and stakeholders.
- A growth mindset and excitement around building new skills and expertise, with the ability to be a quick learner and operate with minimum supervision.
- Comfortable with building out end-to-end solutions and willing to work across the full technology stack, whether front-end or back-end development.
- Experience maintaining production systems owned by the team and providing operational support when necessary.
- Early adopter of AI technology with demonstrated strong interest in AI applications.
- Experience taking Large Language Model (LLM) systems into production for customer-facing features at scale.
- Experience collaborating effectively on a geographically distributed team.
- Experience maintaining software products at scale.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to an early-stage product (preferred).
- Experience with technologies such as Go, GraphQL, Typescript, React, and AWS (preferred).

Base salary range: $130,900 - $220,000 USD
