Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer II responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance automation platform components that impact physical operations across various industries, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack features across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
- Maintain and support production systems owned by the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Design and architect high-scale, production-grade software systems.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to team culture.
- Partner with other teams to prioritize requirements and evangelize the platform.
- Solve problems to enable product functionality for global customers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of industry experience building and operating production software systems.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Go, Java, C++, or an equivalent language.
- Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems.
- Ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team.
- Experience with a public cloud platform such as AWS.
- Experience in mentoring fellow engineers.
- Experience maintaining and supporting production systems and providing operational support.
- Curiosity about customer needs and eagerness to improve their day-to-day experience.
- Experience shipping features iteratively with immediate customer use.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
