Job Description
A full stack engineer responsible for developing end-to-end solutions for managing trailers and unpowered equipment using IoT technologies, contributing to scalable hardware, firmware, and software systems that improve physical operations across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end solutions for equipment tracking, load monitoring, and asset management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and scalability.
- Mentor other engineers and participate in design and implementation discussions.
- Advocate for long-term technical health of products while balancing customer needs.
- Build software, firmware, and hardware that have real-world impact on safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of relevant industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages or technologies: Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions.
- Great team player mentality, enjoying collaborative work with engineers having different areas of focus, e.g., infrastructure, firmware, etc.
- Experience building and shipping a 0-1 product and understanding how to scale for growth and business impact post that phase.
- Understanding of how to build for stability and growth while being responsive to customer feedback.
- Prior experience working with geolocation data.
