Job Description
The Sales Operations Senior Analyst at Samsara is responsible for optimizing sales processes, supporting cross-functional projects, and implementing system improvements to scale the sales organization as the company grows, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales and cross-functional leaders to enable scalable deal support processes and policies
- Identify, scope, prioritize, and resource strategic projects to improve the sales experience
- Develop operational metrics and KPIs to analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to automate workflows and incorporate feedback into sales systems
- Drive change management initiatives to support process improvements within the sales organization
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Operations role or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment
- Ability to drive organizational change by project managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication skills with the AVP levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the overall sales technology ecosystem
- Strong organizational skills and business judgment with the ability to handle business and technical projects from end-to-end
- Experience in Lead to Cash systems and business processes
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at a company, team, and sales rep level
- Prior demonstration of supporting the roll-out of strategy and implementation of new workflows to large sales organizations
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university in business, finance, economics, business, or engineering focus (MBA is optional)
- Familiarity with Product Management and/or Six Sigma best practices (plus, not mandatory)
- Salesforce CPQ Experience (preferred)
- High ability to communicate with both technical stakeholders and business leaders, translating complex issues seamlessly
- Experience as a Salesforce administrator is a plus, but not required
