Job Description

A senior strategic partnership role focused on building and managing collaborations with insurance carriers and brokers to drive adoption of Samsara's IoT solutions, requiring high-level stakeholder engagement, regional activation, and performance management across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with senior insurance executives to serve as a thought leader on telematics and IoT, translating technical concepts into business cases.
  • Lead regional enablement and field activation by educating and motivating local brokers and regional teams to advocate for Samsara's value proposition.
  • Manage stakeholder accountability through governance, running QBRs and check-ins to ensure execution of joint business plans.
  • Own forecasting metrics such as partner attach rates, sourced and influenced revenue, and ensure partnerships lead to scalable growth.
  • Design and execute scalable co-sell partnership strategies, developing value-added services and moving from referrals to systemic co-sell motions.

Requirements

  • Extensive background in strategic partnerships, management consulting, or corporate strategy, preferably within the insurance or InsurTech space.
  • Proven ability to manage specific KPIs related to partner influence, sourced revenue, influenced revenue, and a track record of accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Proven track record of engaging and influencing C-suite stakeholders and regional sales teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and bring structure to ambiguous environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% within the UK to regional hubs and branch offices such as Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, and Glasgow.
  • Ability to serve as a strategic consultant, effectively engaging with senior insurance executives and translating complex technical concepts into compelling business cases for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in designing and executing scalable partnership strategies, including value-added services and systemic co-sell motions.
  • Ability to lead governance for partnerships, including running Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and monthly check-ins focused on hard metrics.
  • Experience managing and forecasting revenue, including tracking partner attach rates, sourced and influenced revenue, and providing accurate, data-driven forecasts to leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record of influencing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives and regional teams.
  • Operational excellence with strong project management skills, capable of leading cross-functional initiatives and bringing structure to ambiguous environments.
