Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining the BLE connectivity platform for Samsara's mobile products, supporting critical operations for customers across various industries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a connectivity platform for Android and iOS to support product features.
- Collaborate with mobile, firmware, backend, and full-stack teams to design and integrate connectivity solutions.
- Improve application architecture, development processes, and developer experience for mobile apps.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable code, conduct reviews, and ship features and updates.
- Mentor junior developers and lead projects from concept to launch.
Requirements
- 7 years of relevant industry experience in mobile development for Android and or iOS.
- Has built and shipped high-quality production mobile applications using either native or React Native frameworks.
- 3 years of professional experience building BLE-enabled mobile applications to interface with hardware products.
- Experience building and using observability tools, frameworks, and standards.
- Strong leadership skills driving projects and working cross-functionally.
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive independent work.
- Ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work autonomously to figure things out.

Compensation/salary range: $180,200 - $252,500 USD annually
