Job Description
The role involves leading and developing a technical recruiting team to build high-quality engineering and operations talent, shaping sourcing strategies, and partnering with senior leaders to support Samsara's growth in connected operations technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and foster a culture of proactive sourcing and talent engagement.
- Develop deep pipelines for critical and niche technical roles ahead of demand.
- Raise the quality standards of hiring through disciplined recruiter judgment and assessments.
- Lead, coach, and develop recruiting team members in sourcing, stakeholder consultation, and candidate evaluation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing hiring decisions with data and market insights.
- Implement and promote the adoption of new recruiting tools, including AI-driven solutions.
- Monitor recruiting performance metrics and pipeline health to identify and address bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting.
- 4 years leading and developing recruiting teams.
- Demonstrated success hiring for high-bar technical roles in complex, scaling environments.
- Strong performance management skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to shape sourcing strategies and instill a proactive talent acquisition culture.
- Exceptional consultation and influencing skills with senior executives.
- Comfort with adopting new recruiting tools - especially AI - and driving change management across teams.
