Job Description
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Collections at Samsara is responsible for leading the strategy and operations of collections for the company's largest enterprise customers, ensuring timely cash collection, process improvement, and maintaining a high level of customer experience within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own enterprise collections performance, aging, past-due reduction, and dispute resolution velocity for complex accounts.
- Lead and develop the enterprise collections team through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- Drive and implement collections strategy aligned with company goals, translating it into team objectives and operating rhythms.
- Manage escalations and communicate with executive-level customers to resolve sensitive issues.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Customer Success, Finance, Treasury) to resolve invoicing and payment issues.
- Improve and scale collections processes through continuous improvement, automation, and reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with global regulations, internal policies, and SOX controls across collections operations.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Revenue Operations, Billing, or Shared Services.
- 5 to 7 years of supervisory people management experience, including leading senior-level individual contributors and managers.
- Demonstrated ability to create organizational objectives and deliver results through others.
- Multi-disciplinary expertise across Order-to-Cash Accounts Receivable, including enterprise collections and complex dispute management.
- Strong upward and downward communication skills and ability to operate with executive stakeholders and strategic customers.
- Proven ability to lead process optimization and automation initiatives.
- Working knowledge of SOX controls and policy compliance in a finance operations environment.
- Experience implementing or using Accounts Receivable (AR) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) automation platforms such as HighRadius, Growfin, Tesorio, etc.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle systems.
- Understanding of SAT Mexican tax authority regulations.
