Job Description

This role involves supporting strategic planning and analysis to drive long-term revenue growth for Samsara's IoT platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights to optimize sales performance and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop multi-year strategic plans to achieve revenue growth targets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze sales team performance and build analytical models to inform planning and decision-making.
  • Guide sales leaders through strategic planning processes and project execution.
  • Prepare executive presentations, analyses, and talking points related to strategic initiatives.
  • Identify growth risks and develop action plans to mitigate them.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across organizations to facilitate collaboration.
  • Support long-term and annual planning efforts through insights and strategic analysis.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy Operations or other analytical roles
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with a deep sense of curiosity
  • Collaborative orientation and experience in building trusting relationships and influencing others, including executive audiences
  • Self-starter who thrives and can multitask in fast-paced and often ambiguous environments with a bias for action
  • Strong presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing, comfortable in business and technical discussions
  • Ability to synthesize a broad set of information into a cohesive narrative
  • Expertise with analytical tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Experience working with big data tools such as DataBricks, BigQuery, SQL, etc. (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience with go-to-market (GTM) strategy (preferred but not mandatory)
