Job Description
The role involves leading and managing a team of Mid Market Account Executives to expand Samsara's customer base in the UK market, focusing on strategic sales, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and industry impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 7-9 Mid Market Account Executives in the UKI market to expand business and grow the customer base
- Mentor, coach, and develop sales team members in outbound prospecting, deal progression, and closing
- Assist with deal negotiation and ensure smooth deal flow through cross-functional collaboration
- Coordinate with Marketing, Growth, and Account Development teams to generate quality leads
- Identify market opportunities and lead initiatives to grow the UK market
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
- Embed and promote Samsara’s cultural principles within the team
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years sales experience
- At least 2 years experience managing a team (preferred)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and MEDDIC MEDDPICC sales methodologies
- Strategic problem solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills
- Strong track record of overachievement in sales
- Experience coaching a team on outbound sales activities
- Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion
- Ability to provide upward feedback
