Job Description

The role involves leading and managing a team of Mid Market Account Executives to expand Samsara's customer base in the UK market, focusing on strategic sales, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and industry impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage 7-9 Mid Market Account Executives in the UKI market to expand business and grow the customer base
  • Mentor, coach, and develop sales team members in outbound prospecting, deal progression, and closing
  • Assist with deal negotiation and ensure smooth deal flow through cross-functional collaboration
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Growth, and Account Development teams to generate quality leads
  • Identify market opportunities and lead initiatives to grow the UK market
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
  • Embed and promote Samsara’s cultural principles within the team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years sales experience
  • At least 2 years experience managing a team (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and MEDDIC MEDDPICC sales methodologies
  • Strategic problem solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills
  • Strong track record of overachievement in sales
  • Experience coaching a team on outbound sales activities
  • Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion
  • Ability to provide upward feedback
