Job Description

The Sales Director will lead and develop a team of enterprise sales account executives, driving sales strategies and customer relationships to promote Samsara's IoT solutions across Mexico, with a focus on complex, long-term deals and fostering a high-performance, inclusive sales culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of account executives, providing coaching, onboarding, and professional development.
  • Develop sales strategies, review pipelines, and support achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Field Sales Engineers, to meet performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain C-level and senior relationships within large enterprise accounts.
  • Drive customer success and long-term growth through strategic problem-solving and project management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience supervising a sales team in Mexico, Enterprise Accounts preferred in a management capacity
  • Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams
  • Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
  • Minimum of 8 years of technology sales experience
  • At least 2 years of managing sales teams that handle complex sales cycles involving multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended time-frames
  • Ability to manage C-level and senior level relationships within large companies
  • Experience in frequent travel within the Mexican territory for customer visits and key industry events
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish and comfortable with public speaking
  • Proficient in utilizing tools such as SFDC
  • Passion in helping Account Executives close large, complex deals
  • Leadership skills to be dynamic and willing to be hands-on
  • Legal ability to work at the company and in the specified work location (Mexico)
