Job Description
The Sales Director at Samsara is responsible for leading and developing an enterprise sales team, driving the adoption of IoT-based solutions for physical operations, and managing customer relationships to achieve sales targets in a remote, southeastern US-based role.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement coaching and development strategies for Account Executives
- Collaborate with executive team to develop performance metrics
- Coordinate with Field Sales Engineers and support teams to meet performance objectives and customer expectations
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles within the team
- Focus on customer success and building long-term relationships
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, high-performing sales team
Requirements
- Previous experience supervising an enterprise sales team in the US in a management capacity
- Proven track record of ability to train, spearhead and motivate enterprise sales teams
- Solid understanding of SFDC (Salesforce) and accurate forecasting methodology
- At least 8 years of technology sales experience
- At least 5 years of experience managing a team in sales supervision and/or high overachievement as an individual contributor in Enterprise SaaS sales
- Passion in helping Account Executives close large, complex deals
