Job Description

The role involves leading the development and market validation of Samsara's Worker Safety initiative, focusing on creating scalable IoT-based safety solutions for physical operations through customer research, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct customer discovery and market validation through research and engagement with clients.
Translate customer feedback into clear value propositions and quantify business opportunities.
Define and communicate product vision and develop a strategic roadmap balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build and deliver full-stack solutions.
Partner with go-to-market teams to drive product adoption, win strategic deals, and inform future product development.
Establish and track success metrics to measure product impact on customers and revenue.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of Product Management experience, with a track record of success in high-growth, scrappy environments.
Proven ability to build products from the ground up where no playbook exists (Zero-to-One Mindset).
Exceptional first-principles thinking and the ability to quantify market opportunities and prioritize engineering directions based on conviction (Analytical Rigor).
Strong ability to pitch a vision to internal stakeholders and external customers alike (Communication).
Comfortable working closely with firmware engineers and technical teams, demonstrating technical literacy (Technical Literacy).
