Job Description

The role involves working as a Partnership Sales Engineer to support and develop technical integrations and relationships with Fleet Management Company partners, helping them leverage Samsara's IoT platform to enhance fleet operations, safety, and efficiency through solution-oriented consulting and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical and solution-oriented conversations with FMC partners and their customers.
  • Provide integration support, architectural guidance, and strategic recommendations for platform coexistence.
  • Perform deep discovery into partner environments to identify solution fit, scope, and revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain joint solutions by understanding partner platforms, workflows, and data models.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build and grow partner engagements and integrations.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, training, and serve as a resource for partners and internal teams.
  • Enable sales and partner teams to position and sell FMC integrations and joint solutions.
  • Prepare technical resources such as solution proposals, reference architectures, and enablement materials.
  • Meet with partners and attend industry events to understand partner experience and demonstrate platform value.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 or more years of experience working with customers or partners in a pre sales, customer success, or technical support capacity.
  • Strong aptitude for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and a solid understanding of business processes and change management.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non technical audiences.
  • Experience managing hardware and or software product evaluations.
  • Willingness to travel to support partners and customers, including onsite engagements when required.
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms using RESTful APIs, including custom integrations.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a creative approach to removing sales obstacles.
  • Comfort working in a fast growing, dynamic technical organization.
  • Demonstrated success moving technical relationships forwards between two large enterprises.

Annual OTE salary range of $198,050 to $233,000 USD
