Job Description
The Order Management Specialist at Samsara is responsible for reviewing customer contracts, processing orders accurately and efficiently, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless order experience, all while supporting process improvements within a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
- Reconcile customer order information against internal systems
- Coordinate with Sales, Sales Ops, and Deal Desk to resolve order discrepancies
- Respond to sales inquiries regarding opportunity status and closure process
- Collaborate with global teams to identify solutions for common order issues and ensure process consistency
- Support system and process improvements to streamline order review and management
- Generate and maintain reports to track order volume and activity
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
- Professional-level written and verbal fluency in English.
- Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A continuous improvement mindset and openness to feedback.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to work during Pacific time zone business hours.
- Ability to work extended hours during month and quarter end.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficiency with CRM and CPQ platform Salesforce (preferred).
- Experience in a contract specialist, order management, and/or related Finance role, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
