Job Description

The Order Management Specialist at Samsara is responsible for reviewing customer contracts, processing orders accurately and efficiently, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless order experience, all while supporting process improvements within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

Review customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies
Reconcile customer order information against internal systems
Coordinate with Sales, Sales Ops, and Deal Desk to resolve order discrepancies
Respond to sales inquiries regarding opportunity status and closure process
Collaborate with global teams to identify solutions for common order issues and ensure process consistency
Support system and process improvements to streamline order review and management
Generate and maintain reports to track order volume and activity

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience.
Professional-level written and verbal fluency in English.
Excellent attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Ability to multitask, adapt, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A continuous improvement mindset and openness to feedback.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Ability to work during Pacific time zone business hours.
Ability to work extended hours during month and quarter end.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency with CRM and CPQ platform Salesforce (preferred).
Experience in a contract specialist, order management, and/or related Finance role, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
