Job Description
A remote sales role focused on acquiring new customers for Samsara's IoT solutions, involving end-to-end customer engagement, complex deal cycles, and building long-term relationships across various industries to drive digital transformation and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers through outbound prospecting and strategic account mapping
- Manage customer engagements from initial contact to closing deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve deal blockers and ensure customer success
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term partnerships
- Conduct research to understand various industries and tailor sales approaches accordingly
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months experience in a full-cycle, outbound-heavy SaaS closing role.
- Candidates must have previous experience in a pure hunter role focused on 80-90 net-new logo acquisition.
- Candidates must have a proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement.
- Candidates must have experience handling complex mid-large deal cycles.
- Candidates must have a value-based selling approach.
- Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and be curious by nature.
- Candidates must be comfortable in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
- Candidates must have MEDDIC experience.
- Candidates must be excited about solving new problems in innovative ways.
- Candidates must be highly collaborative with a growth mindset.
